Qigong Bendigo
WELBY Holistic Healing Bendigo only incorporates qigong exercise scientifically into our program with your health benefits being the main focus.
Although occasionally the term qigong is mystified culturally, Qigong (pronounced chi gung) is one of the essential wellbeing elements of traditional Chinese culture. With a history going back more than 3000 years, qigong exercise therapy has been an important branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and is still used today as self care, health preservation and as a complementary modality for disease and illness management.
Qi essentially means air, breath, vital energy and ‘gong’ means work, method, and training over a period of time. In other words qigong can be translated to mean any movement therapy that improves our physical, mental and emotional wellbeing, breathing and vitality.
